A self-directed project exploring and celebrating student culture in Hyde Park Leeds. The idea of the zine was for it to be kept as sentimental memorabilia to remind students of their life in Leeds after leaving. The zine looks at typical student culture as well as important landmarks through multidisciplinary illustration.

A visual essay using narrative-led illustration to explore women’s safety in Leeds, comparing the Yorkshire Ripper era with recent nightclub drink-spiking cases. The zine highlights recurring themes of fear, vigilance, and restricted freedom, presenting my research through visual storytelling.

I organised a protest poster workshop exploring the social and environmental impact of the fast fashion industry. Participants worked from provided materials, facts, and prompts, and their posters were collated into a hand-made zine highlighting collective activism through illustration.

This zine celebrates the chaotic yet loving routine of a day caring for my niece, highlighting the repetitive nature of childcare. Through on-scene reportage illustrations, it presents a heartfelt narrative that will serve as a cherished memento for both of us as she grows up.
