A self-directed research project where I compare the safety of women in Leeds over two periods of time. Using archives, I researched Leeds in the 1970s when the Yorkshire Ripper case was going on. I then used reportage illustration to look into  Leeds in 2021 with drink spiking being prevalent. The project aimed to shed light on the evolving landscape of women's safety in Leeds. I was able to compare the hostility and create a thought provoking visual essay and zine showcasing my research.
