Polypercentage: a poster series raising awarness about the microfibre crisis
Polypercentage is a poster campaign that I developed for my final major project at Leeds Arts University. I wanted to explore this topic as I was shocked to discover that synthetic fabrics, like polyester contribute massively to plastic pollution. These fabrics shed tiny fibers when washed which eventually end up in our water and food.

Through trial and error, I experimented with screen printing on various materials, including paper and polyester. The result is a triptych piece on organic cotton, with recycling instructions on the back. I wanted the tryptich to be on fabric so that it could represent clothing.
